                                                                  I am a self-addict.

                                        A name bearing many meanings.

A shell of a man never meant to be...
In all honesty, a rebellion or ultimate betrayal

My actions and motives ever frail, ever pointlessly leading to I, me, and myself...

with you no where to be found.

God, only you can breathe life into the lifeless.

You alone adopt enemies as Sons and Daughters. loving, before ever being loved.

Not only 'love', but a mad, jealous, passionate, and kind love.

If ever this truth was understood, oh how the world would be different.

But can we (focus) back to I...since a self-addict I was to start.

LOVE:  Love continued to change me, and I realized I am Set Apart for His purpose.

I understand I am weak.
I have felt unchanging, unadulterated love.

And with these, I now know.

Everyday is a day I can fail...

...But my weakness has become my humbling.

This very fact points me to you.

                            My Cornerstone.
                                   My Rescue from the snares.

The Heavens alone lack the awe to express you in full...for infact, it is tainted by the fall...
...and these languages to shallow to express your greatness.

Every morning I awake in your grace.

                               And on this...
                                                            ...My hope Stands...

...Firm beneath the uprooting waters...
...Whose power does not compare to the ONE who gave the waters their voice.

                        True, Holy, Father.

Let my eyes see you and all that you are.
be so near to me as to feel your heart beat and see the world fastened in your eyes.
That your unconditional love and ever strong truth...

...May in turn, Reflect from my very existence.

Crazy, time is just flyin...  Hey if you all could remember and do me a favor, please pray for me this summer and the Bible study and Project 316.  I know God can do so much through all the people and your prayer.  So if you can for the next few weeks, hit God up with some prayers...cause I know God is going to do something big, just change peoples lives inside and out...and definitely reaching those in need this summer... ummmm ummmm, I cant wait

Psalm 21:1  The king shall joy in your strength, O LORD; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Eph. 6:10-24

In a Christian walk with God, routine and complacency will kill you.  You must be willing to change and be ever changing.  'Cause the moment you let your hands down will be the moment you get knocked out.

Okay, so its April 3rd and I havent updated in a month, my bad.   So check this out, two of my boys got engaged this past week.  So congratulations to Josh Yerk and Jeff Whalburg.  Talk about crazy, everyones growing up and getting murried.  Carazzy I tell you...I got to talk to my boy Nick yesterday too, that was awesome.

This weekend was kickin.  Jesse, Frank, Jeffrey Paul Davenport and myself, went to Jesse's and Frank's hood...out in the sticks...and we had ourselves a good time.  Went to the lake, jumped over fire, you know the usual.  God's soo good too.  We got to just worship God and encourage each other and played alot of guitar, awwww yea.

So basically, Im working on getting stuff ready for the summer with the Bible study and im so PUMPED about this summer.  I cannot wait to see what God will do!!  Ummm ummm, im ready to go...theres still a bunch to do but thats aight.

Ohh yea, and Im playing at Open Mic at the community arts center this friday or saturday, Im playing one of the songs I wrote and Im doing it on guitar and Jesse's playing with me, so that should be fun.  So if you all can remember, pray for that, cause Im still writing the second verse.

I love you all and miss you guys like crazzy, I hate being away from my people.  You are all in my prayers all the time.  So keep your heads up and make the most of every opportunity.

...and one more thing, keep earnest in prayer, if you dont have the time to read the Bible or havent prayed in a while, start.  Prayer is the easiest gift God's given us to be a part of His work in others lives, and it keeps us HUMBLE and RELIENT on God instead of ourselves.

"The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears
nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work and prayerless religion. He
laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray."
- Samuel Chadwick

Update:

we had the first Bible study/fellowship time last Wednesday.  It went great.  There were 8 of us and we just shared what God had been doing in our lives and our struggles and how to pray for each other.  So every Wednesday seems to be the plan...but pray that we can get unsaved guys to come, most dont want to just come and 'talk', so we are going to try and get stuff going like playing pool, or bball or something to get guys out...

Courtney and Bradford came up from florida this past weekend, so the whole family was together for a day, which was really nice...it had been a while...

If your looking for a book about Jesus Christ and the Bible...read "more than a carpenter" by Josh Mcdowell.  Really good stuff.  I just finished it...it really gives you confidence in your faith.  And its really easy to read.  Took me about 5 hours.  Well worth it

Thats all I have for now.  You are all in my prayers....

Lets continue to make the devils hands full....
